Joint Concert Series

Started during the 1996-1997 academic year and continuing during our 2006-2007 performance season - we established, then continued the Joint Concert Series with our good friends from Asbury College.

In 1996-1997 - we played at Asbury/Wilmore in the Fall - they at Georgetown in the Spring [featured soloist was Chad Acklin, Trombone]. During the 2006-2007 academic year, the Asbury Band Members joined us at Georgetown in the Fall [featured soloist was Allison Bickers, Tenor Saxophone] and we traveled to Wilmore for a concert on the Asbury campus during the spring [featured soloist was Jon Myers, Trombone].

The JCS has proven to be a delightful experience for all - and we shall continue to seek opportunities of this nature in the future.
